R&D Centre of Excellence for Next-Generation Agritech Research
RNZ Agrotech Limited, Kezad, Abu Dhabi was established in 2020 with the aim of contributing to the UAE’s National Food Security Strategy 2051, which aims to accomplish zero hunger by ensuring access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food for all. We are committed to innovation, with environment-friendly, cost-effective and high-use efficiency products and services based on latest scientific advances. The state-of the-art R & D centre has been set up in an area of 2,000-square-meter with a team of dedicated professionals experienced in agriculture & inorganic / organic chemistry.
The Main objective of the Centre:
- To formulate Customized NPK grades according to specific crop requirement
- To design and implement research projects that aim to develop new innovative products and services enhancing agricultural produce
- To develop value-added fertilizers, specialty fertilizers and nano-fertilizers, biologicals, biostimulants, inorganic pesticides
- To study the compatibility of fertilizer grades with other agri inputs
- To work in the area of waste management challenges of regional and global importance, as a part of our Sustainability programme
- To conduct field trials/demo plots for the specialized agri inputs to check its effectiveness on crops
- To educate farmers’ regarding agri input usage and application for increasing agricultural output
* RNZ also focusses on protecting its technologies and IPRs. We have filed quite a few patents (1- granted and 7 – in pipeline)
