Copper Sulphate – Pentahydrate
Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate Fertilizer for Fungus and Deficiency Control
Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate is a blue crystalline micronutrient (25% Cu) and fungicide used in agriculture to correct copper deficiencies in crops like wheat, citrus, grapes, and vegetables, while controlling fungi, algae, and pests. It promotes enzyme function, lignin formation for disease resistance, and fruit quality, increasing yields by 10-15% in deficient soils. As a fertilizer, it enhances pigmentation and growth; as Bordeaux mixture (with lime), it protects against blights and mildews.
Apply 1-2 kg/acre soil or 0.5-1% foliar (5-10 g/L water) pre-bloom; low rates prevent toxicity. Effective in organic farming for sustainable pest management, it improves soil health without residue buildup when used judiciously.
